Dear Pat, Lucy just told us the news of dear Carol, one of the sweetest and most genuine people we have known. What a joy to have had the opportunity to talk and laugh with her because she was a ray of sunshine every time!! She was always interested in what was going on in someone else's world. Carol was a dear colleague of mine. The news of her passing spread amoung our colleagues very quickly. We were all shocked and saddened by the news. Carol was optimistic and empathetic. Dear Christopher and Ms. Stanitz, 
 I am so sorry for the loss of your grandmother and mother. She was such an important icon in your life. 
 I remember speaking/meeting her several years ago. She wanted to make sure that Chris would be comfortable at his new school, Krueger. She took the time to set up an appointment, tour the school and asked many questions. She was very proud of Chris and daughter and always wanted the best for them. 
 A mother and grandmother can never be replaced, but the special memories of her will live on forever.

Carol will be greatly missed at the Rockstar Academy with her precious grandson, Christopher. I had the priviledge of getting to know her during these classes and loved watching her dote on her pride and joy, Chris. Although I only knew her a short period of time, I feel such a loss. We had a lot in common and I so much enjoyed our conversations about music, James Taylor, particularly living in Virgina and growing up in the same time period as my oldest siblings.
