Carol L. Tomasovic

Carol entered eternal rest on January 17, 2021 at the age of 76. She was born February 26, 1944 in Washington, DC to George and Ruth Lutheran. Carol graduated from The University of Maryland and shortly thereafter met the love of her life, Jerry J. Tomasovic MD, on a blind date. The two were married July 22, 1967. Due to Jerry’s military career, they lived in Wiesbaden Germany, Denver Colorado, and Napa Valley California before permanently settling in San Antonio. The two had grand adventures traveling the world even after having their two daughters, Kathryn and Elizabeth. Carol’s life revolved around her family. She loved ‘60s music, championed civil rights, was a sports enthusiast, and cherished animals.

Carol is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jerry; daughters Kathryn Goertz and Elizabeth LaBarge; and grandchildren Anabelle, Adeline, Lincoln, and Estelle. Her spunky spirit will live on through those who loved her, and she will be missed dearly.

A private service will take place on Saturday January 23rd but is limited to immediate family.
