

Carole was born to Sam and Jessie Mae Jones on the Old Morton Road Ranch near San Marcos, TX on April 26, 1930. She was a true Texan wherever she went and always made memories in everything she did.
She was a loving wife and mother and was passionate in the nurturing of her children, grandchildren and friends. She loved studying and claiming God's Word, entertaining friends in her home, reading, and genealogy. She was actively involved with her genealogy as it related to early Texas history, and was an active member of the "Alamo Chapter" of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Siege of Bexar, and Descendants of San Jacinto.
Carole is survived by her devoted husband, Bink Gottlich; son, Rob Gottlich, his wife, Tanya, and their three children, Leah, Tres, and Caleb of Coppell, TX; daughter, Peggy Wright, her husband, Rick, and their two children, Kyle and Audrey of Katy, TX; son, Matt Gottlich and his wife, Joni, and their four children, Matthew, Brittany, Elizabeth, and Garrett of Atlanta, GA; son, Todd Gottlich and his wife, Sarita, and their three sons, Shelton, Sam, and Cardo of Atlanta, GA; and sister, Becky Turberville and her husband Gary of Seguin, TX.
