With profound sorrow and enduring love, we share the passing of Carolina Oliveros Quintero — a radiant soul whose presence touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Surrounded by love in her final moments, Carolina leaves behind a legacy of compassion, grace, and unwavering devotion to her family.
Carolina’s presence was a light in the lives of others. Her love ran deep and was felt in every interaction—making people feel seen, heard, and genuinely valued. Her kindness was limitless, her heart expansive.
As a devoted wife to Matt and a deeply loving mother, Carolina’s family was her greatest joy and purpose. The care she poured into her home and children reflected the depth of her love and the quiet strength with which she lived.
Her impact is indelible. Carolina’s life was defined by warmth, generosity, and an unshakable ability to connect. She brought joy, comfort, and inspiration simply by being herself.
Though her loss is immeasurable, so too is the love she leaves behind. As we mourn, we also honor and celebrate the extraordinary beauty she brought into our lives. Her spirit will continue to guide us—steadfast and luminous, just as she was.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Matthew Sawina and their cherished children, Mattia and Maia, as well as her parents Roque Oliveros and Nhara Quintero Abello, and her siblings Andrea and Adriana. A special thank you to Kim and Gary Sawina for all of the support they have given during this time.
A celebration of Carolina’s life will be held on Saturday, May 24th at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home. Viewing will begin at 6:00 PM, with services to follow. The family kindly requests that guests wear vibrant colors in honor of Carolina’s radiance.
Please join us in remembering her spirit, sharing stories, and celebrating the joy she brought into our lives.
