Carolyn Sue Gray

Carolyn Sue Gray (Nana) passed away on Tuesday, January 8, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was born December 28, 1935, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, to Wayne and Una Wright. She was a very loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt. Carolyn was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority at Oklahoma State University where she also graduated with her Master's degree in education. She was a school teacher for many years and loved every minute with her students. She enjoyed her Sunday mornings at Northern Hills United Methodist Church with all of her friends. As a woman, she was a very big fan of sports. She would travel near and far to watch her Oklahoma State Cowboys play football and baseball. When she couldn't attend games she would never miss them on TV. Carolyn's pride and joy was her one and only granddaughter that she loved with all her heart. Carolyn was greatly loved by family and many friends. She was admired and will be remembered with an abundance of love. She was preceded in death by her parents Wayne and Una Wright, her sister in-law, Mary Beth Calk and her Mother in-law, Nannie Lou Gray. She is survived by her husband, Tom Gray, daughter, Melissa Gray Neal and her husband, Steven Neal, granddaughter, Rebecca Neal, sister, Betty Atkins, brother in-law, Bill Gray and wife, Marcia, cousins, Linda Graves, Linda Blackford & family, her 5 nieces, Claudia, Jamie, Ellen, Betsy and Kelly and 1 nephew, Todd. A visitation service will take place at Porter Loring Mortuary North from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 17, 2013.
