Carolyn Marie Marshall

Carolyn Marie (Blacketer) Marshall, 73, passed away peacefully Friday, September 28, 2012, in San Antonio, Texas. She was born March, 3, 1939, in San Antonio, Texas where she also attended Providence High School.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James Wesley Blacketer and Mary Alice Velda (Truitt) Blacketer; her brothers, James Wesley Blacketer II and John Gerald Blacketer; her sisters, Mary Gladys Duganne and Betty Ruth Gloster; her husband, Joseph Kent Marshall, Jr; and her grandson, Patrick Nicholas Marshall.

She is survived by her son, Joseph Kent Marshall, III and his wife, Erin; her daughters, Susan Marie Fuller, Teresa Ann Kronenberg, Caroline Martin Pointer and her husband, Blake; grandchildren, Melissa Marie Fuller, Justin Tyler Marshall, Heather Nicole Fuller, Joshua Matthew Marshall, Nathan Thomas Fuller and his wife, Kayla, Robert Gregory Van Cour, Jason Trevor Marshall, Angela Marie Marshall, Michelle Amy Marshall, Caitlin Elizabeth Pointer, Ryan Keith Pointer, Robert Patrick Marshall, Rebecca Nicole Marshall, and Madison Nichole Marshall; great-grandchildren, Aubree Marie Campos and Mason Ryan Fuller; brothers, David O'Brien Blacketer and Patrick Anthony Blacketer; and sister, Mary Ann Halsell.

Flowers may be sent to Val Verde Memorial Gardens in Donna, Texas. A graveside service will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 1pm at Val Verde Memorial Gardens, Donna, Texas.
