She was born in San Antonio, Texas to Cook Broadway (C.B.) Conn and Jean Conn. Carolyn was an avid dancer all her life, model, loved darts, motorcycles, crocheting and her family. She retired from Kelly Air Force Base in 1994.
She was survived by her children Lendin Yowell, Robin Payne and husband Greg Payne, Carin Norton and husband Daryl Norton and Darin Yowell and Wife Tanya Yowell. Her Brother Robert (Bobby) Conn and 4 grandchildren; Jared Kirk, Kimberly Kirk, Chris Payne and Alison Payne. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents Cook Broadway Conn and Jean Conn; and her sister in law Jeannie Conn.
Celebration of Life service to be held at Sunset Funeral Home in San Antonio with graveside services to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the place of your choice.
