Carson Gregory Johnson

Carson was born on October 23, 2012, to parents Greg and Bianca Johnson, and immediately became the light of their lives and their biggest source of entertainment. He will be remembered for his contagious laughter and natural ability to be in the middle of everything. His humor and happiness carried him through his life and charmed everyone he met. He excelled in school, especially in his athletic career.

Carson played football and basketball and ran track for Edna Junior High School, where he was about to enter the eighth grade. A dedicated, disciplined, and talented athlete, he made his school's A-Team basketball, played both offense and defense for his football team, and placed 4th in EISD for Shotput. Outside of school, he made the All Stars Majors baseball team, and tuned in to ESPN to watch College GameDay. He also loved gaming on his PlayStation 5, often playing games like NBA 2K, Madden, and Speed Stars. If he wasn't playing sports or gaming, you could find him hanging out with friends and family, watching TikTok and YouTube, horseplaying with his buddies, faithfully emulating his older cousin Noah, or enjoying one of his favorite foods - wings with ranch dressing, bean and cheese nachos, and sweet tea.

Carson leaves behind a large, loving family who cherished their time with him. Those who will treasure his memory forever include his beloved parents, Greg and Bianca Johnson; grandmothers Hope Garcia and Stephanie Jones Poluka; grandfather Gregory Johnson Sr.; uncle Trevin Flowers; aunt and uncle April and Chad Tarpley; aunt and uncle Luis and JoHanna Padilla; and cousins Mariah Garrett, Delano Tarpley, Cecily Tarpley, and Noah Martinez-Anderson. He will also be remembered by the countless lives he touched, including his friends and teammates.

Services for Carson will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, located at 6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78238. A visitation will begin at 2:00 PM, followed by a Celebration of Life at 3:00 PM.
