Cary Leslie Sheffy was born on December 27, 1914 in Ballinger, TX. He went to be with his Lord on the morning of November 8, 2001, at the age of 86. He dedicated his life to the Lord, his family and the military. Mr. Sheffy was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Unger Sheffy and his brother, Franklin Sheffy. Survivors: daughter, Carolyn Sweet and her husband, Pete, Georgetown, TX; son, Howard Sheffy and his wife, Jean; daughter, Sharon Cooper, all of San Antonio, TX; son, Terry Sheffy of Bulverde, TX; brother, Duard Sheffy and his wife, Ella Mae; sister-in-law, Bernadette Sheffy of Oklahoma; granddaughters, Lynette Shelton, Amber Sheffy and Andrea Bruno; grandsons, Brett Sweet, Tony Arcuri, Bill Arcuri and Austin Mata; also, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and numerous great-grandchildren.
