Catalina Tello Hernandez entered into eternal rest to be with the Lord at the age of 89 on February 29, 2012. She was born in Saltillo, Mexico on April 30, 1922 and as a child moved to her permanent home in San Antonio. She is preceded in death by her parents, Reyes and Otilia Tello. She is survived by her husband Victor Hernandez of 62 years; beloved sister, Petra T. Castillo; beloved brother, Reyes Tello Jr.; sister-in-law, Juanita Rodriguez; brother-in-law, Raymond Hernandez. Also numerous nieces, nephews, great grandnieces, and great grandnephews. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, 2012 for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Agnes Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Agnes Catholic Church, 804 Ruiz St., San Antonio, TX 78207.
