Catherine J Adams

Catherine “Irene” Adams beloved wife and mother passed April 24, 2018 at Christa Santa Rosa Hospital from complications of Alzheimer’s. She is now reunited with her husband George and son John. Irene was born in Troon, Scotland, July 25, 1934 to her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Henry. She was the oldest of the Henry’s three daughters, Sheena Rindskopf of Germany and Moira Henry of Oregon. She is also survived by her daughter Wendy Adams of San Antonio, Tx; numerous nieces and nephews of Oregon and Germany.

She will be greatly missed. Irene was a graduate of Marr College in Troon Scotland. Irene enjoyed the moving she did with her active duty husband George. Irene enjoyed working in the field of real estate; obtaining her broker’s and real estate license; retiring in 1993. Following retirement she found joy with the elderly and tutoring elementary school children while volunteering with OASIS. Irene also enjoyed being a part of her local Red Hat Ladies.

A procession will depart Sunset Northwest Funeral home on Tuesday, May 15 2018 at 10:45 a.m. for a committal service at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 11:30 a.m. in shelter 3. For online tributes please visit the online guest book.
