Cathy was a member of Holy Trinity Presbyterian Church and an Interior Designer with Stowers Furniture.
Survivors: husband, Glenn A. Matlock; sons, Chad A. Matlock and John E. Matlock; mother, Edna Mercer; father, Gene Gatlin and his wife, Barbara; brother, John Gatlin; sisters, Judy Glover and her husband, Lynn, Mary Smith and her husband, Wayne, Jeannie Galloway and her husband, Howard.
There will be a reception at the church following the committal service.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Sharon Wilks and her capable staff and the Nursing Staff on One North at Northeast Baptist Hospital and Dr. Stephanie Jones for keeping Cathy pain free on her last days. Also a special thanks to the staff of Stowers Furniture and the staff of Porter Loring for all their love and support.
