He is survived by his children, Linda Hollingsworth, Dennis Maddux, Laurie Ayscue and husband James; grandchildren Malinda Thurman and husband Bryan, Dina Clary and husband John, and Christopher Maddux; great grandchildren Allison and Kristin Clary.
Visitation will be 6-7 p.m., Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home.
The Graveside Service will be held at 1:45 p.m. Friday October 7, 2011 at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery, San Antonio, TX.
Flowers are welcome or donations can be made to the DAV or the American Heart Association.
