Cecil “Ed” Waggoner went to be with the LORD, on December 7th, 2018. He had a long and full life of 93 years and was active to the end. He was born in Cleburne, TX and raised in Fort Worth, TX with a large extended family. He graduated from Paschal High School and attended Texas Christian University, graduating with both a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s Degree in Psychology. He served 32 years in the USAF, as a pilot. He is a Veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He flew B-52’s over the Arctic Circle and Russia during the Cold War years, and worked with the early astronauts in the NASA Space Program. He was very proud of his service to his beloved country.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Constance Waggoner, and by his parents BA and Mabel Waggoner, as well as brothers Bryan Arthur, Jr., Joe V. Waggoner, and Billy M. Waggoner. He is survived by his sister Bobbye G. Waggoner Mills, daughter Candace Waggoner Warren, grandson Logan S. Woods, and great-grandson Logan S. Woods, Jr. He has numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and their families.
He was an active member of many organizations, his church, and a generous donor to many charities. He was loved and respected, and will be missed by all who knew him. We will meet again in Heaven.

Visitation will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on 6321 Bandera Rd., San Antonio, TX on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2018 from 4 p.m. till 8 p.m.
Services will be held at Grace Baptist Temple, 4398 Bluemel Rd., San Antonio, TX, 78240 on Friday, December 21, 2018, 11:00 a.m.
Interment to follow at Fort Sam Houston.
