

Cecilia was born to Henry and Martha Bock, November 27, 1963, in Fort Huachuca, Arizona. She graduated from Winston Churchill High School in 1981, and received an Associate Degree from San Antonio College in 1983. She married Jim Johnson in 1989 and they lived together until his passing in 1996. They had one daughter, Sherri Ann Johnson.
Cecilia is survived by her daughter, Sherri (Kevin Pople). She also leaves behind her grandchildren Mackenzie and Melanie. She also is survived by her three brothers and one sister: Larry (Kim), Mike (Laura), Doug (Allison), and Mickey (Tim Banigan). There are many nieces and nephews who will also miss her.
Cecilia retired from civil service at Kelly Air Force Base and Ft Sam Houston, both in San Antonio, after 35 years of service, in 2020. She had many hobbies including Crochet, Knitting, Sudoku, Canasta, and jigsaw puzzles. She was also very involved with her church, St Pius X Catholic Church. She was a Eucharistic Minister, a member of the Catholic Daughters, a member of the Stephen Ministry, and worked St Vincent de Paul food pantry.
In the last years of her life with many medical issues getting in the way, she never complained. She also had a smile or laugh for everybody. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family.
A Rosary will occur on Sunday, August 11, at 6pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, 1701 Austin Highway. A funeral Mass will occur on Monday, August 12, at 12:30pm at St Pius X, 3919 Harry Wurzbach Road. Following the Mass and burial, there will be a reception at St Pius X.
In lieu of flowers, donations may made to St Pius X Catholic Church or to the National Kidney Foundation in remembrance of Cecilia.
