Cecilia F. Wietzel passed away on December 10, 2008 at the age of 89. She was employed in government service for thirty years as secretary to the comptroller at headquarters, 4th Army, Fort Sam Houston. She retired from Fort Sam Houston in 1973. She had been pro-life since 1973 and always supported this belief. She sang in the choir at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Judge Raymond Wietzel and George Wietzel, Jr.; and her sister, Marjorie Wietzel. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Jean A. Wietzel Dallas, TX; and her sister-in-law, Elahe Wietzel San Antonio, TX; nieces; nephews; and cousins.
