Celerina P. Morin

Celerina P. Morin born on February 3, 1928, in San Antonio, Texas went to be with the Lord, June 27, 2013 at the age of 85. She was a member of St. Timothy’s Altar Society (La Vela Perpetua) and a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Parliamentarian. She liked to cook and managed the kitchen at a bingo club and she also loved to travel. She is preceded in death by her sons Jose Angel Contreras and Guadalupe Contreras; her parents; 1 brother and 1 sister. Mrs. Morin is survived by her husband Joe Q. Morin; children, Ramon Contreras (Helen), Maria Ochoa (Gilbert), Sally Rocha (Rudy), and Joe Morin Jr.; 9 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren, and one on the way; sister Frances Rivas; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin, Sunday July 7, 2013, 5:00 p.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd. followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A procession will depart from the funeral home, Monday, July 8, 2013 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of the Resurrection at St. Timothy’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
