Mrs. Celeste De Luna Espinoza

Celeste De Luna Espinoza, age 74, was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend; passed peacefully on June 24, 2026, surrounded by her family. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on August 25, 1951, to Esteban De Luna Sr. and Petra Salas De Luna.

Celeste is preceded in death by her parents, Esteban De Luna Sr. and Petra Salas De Luna; her grandson, Daniel Ricardo Moreno; her brother, Ruben De Luna.

Celeste is survived by her husband of 53 years, Pedro Espinoza; her daughter, Patricia Espinoza Moreno (Ricardo), her grandson, Anthony Pedro Moreno; her sisters, Rachel Hernandez (Robert), Rita De Luna Martinez (Gregory), Belinda Tello (Gabriel); her brothers Esteban De Luna Jr. (Susan), Gilbert De Luna; her sisters-in-law, Yolanda Talamentez, Sylvia Gonzalez, Rosemary High, Lucia Campos (Jose) and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celeste had a love for crafting, traveling, swimming, gardening, and spending time at the beach. More than anything, though, she cherished being with her family. She believed in making the most of every moment, being present, and truly enjoying life. She enjoyed taking photos with family and friends, capturing the moments that would become lifelong memories. With her vibrant sense of style and eye for decorating, she had a special talent for making everything around her feel warm and beautiful.

Celeste was also a wonderful friend to so many. She had a kind heart, a great sense of humor, incredible strength, and a way of making everyone feel accepted and valued. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her with her love, warmth, and compassion. Her memory will forever be treasured, and she will be deeply missed by all who loved her.

The Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.,at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, Texas, 78237.

The Procession will depart from the funeral home at 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, July 9, 2026 for a Mass of The Resurrection at 10:00 a.m. at St. John Berchmans' Catholic Church, 1147 Cupples Rd., San Antonio, Texas 78226. Interment will follow at Resurrection Cemetery at Cordi-Marian Cemetery, 11624 Culebra Rd., San Antonio, Texas, 78253.
