Prayers and deep condolences to Tony’s family at this time of sorrow. I had the pleasure of working with Tony in Miami on a detail in the early 80’s. He was a dedicated agent, a gentleman, and a very kind person. He always had a smile when he would talk about his children. You will be missed.😥🇺🇸

Tony & I went the ATF Basic Agent class back in 1979. He was always a good listener. Being a veteran myself, we talked about the war & the life long friendships we made along the way. Rest In Peace My Brother. We will all be together in the Kingdom of God.🙏🏻😢🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

The San Antonio Police Department Cadet Class 1972-D wishes to express their condolences to the family of Tony Vargas. The last time most of us saw Tony was at our monthly luncheon at Estela’s cafe, right before he moved to Arizona. Tony was a beloved fellow police officer and a true friend. Tony will be greatly missed.

May my good friend Tony rest in peace. Hard worker, dedicated, never lost his cool. Played ball together. His children were always a priority. Great all around; will miss him dearly.
