Celia Reyna Reyna Maldonado

Surrounded by her family, Celia Reyna Maldonado was sent home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday December 20, 2013 at 9:50 AM. She was 66 years of age. Her accomplishments were her family which she loved so much. Aside from the many medical ailments, she was known as a strong, courageous women and a fighter. In her life time she touched and cared for many and was always willing to help those in need. Her spirit, love and her forgiving heart will be missed as she walks her new journey.

She has left behind the love of her life of 54 years, Atanacio H. Maldonado, three daughters; Dorthy, Dolores, Victoria and son Daniel L Maldonado; Three son in-laws, Herman Castro, Ruben Martinez and Dennis Rodulfo. She also leaves behind her greatest joys, 4 grandchildren; Stephanie & Steven Natal, Victor J Castro, Vanessa M. Nava, Danielle E. Kays, a great grandchild Savannah N. Natal and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Celia is survived by her siblings; Victor F. Reyna, Alfredo F. Reyna, Adriana Jones and Henrietta Fennell. She is preceded in death by parents, Victor and Josephine Reyna, Bernadine D. Fernandez and brother Oscar Reyna.

There will be a memorial service on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home,6321 Bandera Rd, San Antonio, Texas 78238

The family also wishes to thank all the doctors and surgeons that cared for her, Jorge Cavazos, Murali Beeram, Ben Getter and Nurse Beth, the staff at St. Luke’s Hospital, and Evercare Hospice for all the compassion they showed.
