

Charie was born on September 24, 1943 to Herman and Lucille Moses in Oakland, California. She graduated from Natalia High School in 1961 and attended Durham Business College in San Antonio, Texas. She was married to the love of her life, Harry Hyatt on March 19, 1965. They were happily married and devoted to each other for 58 1/2 years. Charie was a tower of strength. She loved her life and all of the many blessings God had given her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving brother, Terry Moses and sister-in-law, Cornelia Moses.
Charie worked hard most of her life as an administrative assistant for the Scottish Rite (5 years), Alzafar Shrine (25 years) and Porter Loring North (5 years).
Charie is survived by her husband, Harry Hyatt; daughter Kami Small and husband Tim; grandson Taylor Small and wife Kourtney; together with numerous sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and bonus grandsons, Nick Gonzales, Cody Moon, Eric Rogers and bonus granddaughters, Brooke and Brianna Westmoreland.
A heartfelt thank you to her sister-in-laws, Linda Morgan, Janice Hyatt, Kim Hyatt and nieces Laura Dixon, Kate Hyatt and Amanda Fowles for their amazing love and support in her final days.
The family would also like to thank Guiding Light Hospice for their compassion, love and support.
A celebration of life will be held on November 11, 2023 at the family’s home in Boerne, Texas.
