Charleen Kirk Hunt, born 22 October 1939, passed away on August 30, 2017 in her home in Maryland. She was born in San Antonio to Loma Eldridge Kirk and Julius Luther Kirk and was married to Colonel George Hunt, also of San Antonio, until his death in 1990. Charleen graduated from Jefferson High School and Georgia State University and spent her adult life traveling the world as an Army wife. She is survived by her children, Lisa Hunt, Christopher Hunt and Allison Hunt Blessing; her son-in-law, John Blessing and her grandchildren, Shannon & Michael Hunt and Zach and Troy Blessing.
Interment at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, November 10, 2017 at 9:30 a.m.
Services will be held on Friday, November 10, 2017, 11:00 a.m., at Porter Loring Mortuary North-Reflection Room
