To Charles' father and family: though as Charles' neighbor, I realize I rarely knew him but know you are so proud that he resembled you so much, not only in appeaance but in your zest for life. He always said hello but we were always too rushed with kids to stop and become very acquainted. I'll never forget when Charles arranged for his new driveway for his boat.... I kidded him because at one time he had an army of men doing lots of work on his special project... I could see that they were proud to work for him....and proud to do a good job as they did. I have great memories of Trey's ramping up and then opening the Barrett "Auto Pride" operation. That was my first opportunity to get to know and work with Trey. He was perpetually full of optimism and enthusiasm with an ever present zest for what the future would bear in this new endeavor. I truly enjoyed that opportunity and time to get to know Trey and consider him my friend. His ever present grin and great humor will always be my memory.

I was very luck to have the opportunity to work with Trey at Metro. He made the afternoon shift very fun. There was a day that I had gone into work and he decided to put a cup full of live crickets in my desk as he sat in the office and watched to see what I would do. He had a big heart and was a wonderful person. I am glad to say that I was very happy to have gotten the chance to have him be a part of my life and my heart and prayers are with the family.
