

Charles Waymon Bentley, age 83, passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on June 15, 1938 in Abilene, Texas to Laura Marie Stockton and Charles Weldon Bentley. He attended Southwest Texas University and Rice University School of Business. He served in the United States Air Force. Chuck was an entrepreneur and involved in many businesses; Bizzy Bees Pest Control, owner and CEO, Texas Microwaves, part owner and President of Operations to name a few. He was a bus driver for NEISD and Comal ISD and had many funny stories to share. He was an avid birder and an amateur photographer. He loved to travel with his wife looking for new birds and taking pictures of the beautiful landscape they found. He was preceded in death by his parents; father in-law, Richard Long; cousin, Richard Bentley. Charles is survived by his wife, Melody Bentley; daughter, Robin McBee and husband Mark McBee; daughter, Madison Mathews and husband David Mathews; son, Heath Bennett and wife Krista Bennett; brother in-law, Shane Long and wife Tiffany Long; along with ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
