He attended and was a graduate of San Antonio Academy, Alamo Heights High School and Texas Christian University. Charles was an avid sports fan and especially loved TCU football.
Music was a passion and he found pleasure in classic and modern rock.
Charles is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Bobby Charles Elrod and maternal grandparents, James and Mary Kempf.
He is survived by his beloved parents, Michael and Judith Elrod; grandmother, Barbara Elrod; aunt, Nancy Kempf; uncle and aunt, Don and Susan Holley and his cousin, Jeff Holley.
Charles exhibited energy, was full of enthusiasm and positive spirits.
On Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 pm, a service will be held at First Presbyterian Church, 404 North Alamo followed by interment in Sunset Memorial Park.
