Charles Bruce Herrick

Charles Bruce Herrick, age 78, passed away on Monday, November 30, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. He was born on August 17, 1944, in Lubbock, Texas to Charles G. Herrick and Louise Herrick. Charlie grew up in San Antonio, graduated from Thomas Jefferson high school, and went to the University of Texas. He was preceded in death by, his parents, Charles G. Herrick, and Louise Herrick; daughter, Heather Herrick Todd; second wife, Sara Smither Herrick; and great-granddaughter, Everly Jean Herrick.

He is survived by his daughter, Kathryn Charline Herrick; stepsons, Michael Mansfield, and Todd Mansfield; first wife, Ida Hinchey Scott; his grandchildren, Caitlyn Cross Wicker, Kevin Anthony Herrick, Madison Page Todd, Brendan James Herrick; his great-grandchildren Jlynn Adame, Derrick Deloach, Jr. Heavenly Deloach, sister, Gayle Holt; nephews, Jerry Holt, and Charles Bill Holt.

He was a great businessman and great at investing and marketing. He loved to play golf, poker, and watch sports and he enjoyed the outdoors. He was a strong believer in faith. Charles was a great father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was deeply loved by his family and friends; he will truly be missed.

The family will receive guests Thursday, December 29th, 2022, at Porter Loring Mortuary from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
