Our father Charles Joseph Homola, a former Marine, master carpenter, and businessman passed away quietly on Tuesday the 22nd of April 2025. He lived a long 96 years in Illinois and Texas. His first wife, daughter and son are still living in Texas and his second wife has passed away. He is now with his mother, father and brother in the after life. Charlie (as most called him that) was a character and put smiles on many faces over the years. He managed to put on a show just like his father - it seems to run in the family. His father “Hookem Joe” was the single funniest person anyone has seen. We hope they are having a great time in heaven, the angels will be very well entertained. Charlie still has 5 nephews and nieces spread around the country. I hope he will help guide the rest of us that are still here on Earth for the rest of our lives.
