He was a 1998 graduate of St. Mary's Hall and had attended the University of Mississippi, where he was a fourth-generation member of Kappa Sigma fraternity.
Dax was known for his outgoing personality and clowning.
He is survived by his parents Carla and Andy Ivins of Fair Oaks Ranch; a brother Drew; sister Darby; and many loving relatives and friends.
