In 1965, Terry graduated from W.B. Ray High School in Corpus Christi. He went on to study at University of Texas at Austin and began a life-long career in construction that took him all across North America.
Terry is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patricia Kohler; children, Freida Kohler-Abeita, Carlos Kohler, Haley Hubnik and Katherine Summer Kohler; and four grandchildren.
