Charles Thomas McEnroe

Charles Thomas McEnroe, age 83, entered eternal rest on August 26, 2017. He was born on October 23, 1933 in Wellsville, New York. Upon Completing his schooling in Wellsville and attending Rochester Business Institute, Tom entered the United States Air Force where he spent over 20 years of serving his country. The best time of his career was being assigned to England where he met his future wife Doreen. After spending time in Arizona and again in England, they were assigned to Lackland AFB until his retirement in 1972. After the military, he was employed at Security Service Federal Credit Union, the 3708 BMTS and Wilford Hall Medical Center, until his final retirement in 1997. Tom and Doreen spent 52 great years together until she passed away in 2011. Preceding him in death was their daughter, Tina Marie and his parents Julia and Donovan McEnroe. He is survived by his son, Chuck, sisters, Mary Ann Leahy, Sally Schleigh and husband Bill, plus relatives in both the United States and England. A memorial graveside will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Thursday, October 5, 2017 at Fort Sam Cemetery with Air Force military honors.
