

Charles Henry Way of San Antonio, TX passed away on July 23, 2014 at the age of 78. He was born October 30, 1935 in San Antonio, but soon thereafter traveled to Brazil with his mother, Genevieve, to unite with his father, Frank, and brother, Frank Jr.
The entire family moved back to San Antonio when Charles was 17 years old where he graduated from St. Gerard Catholic High school in 1954. He attended Texas A&M University and transferred to St. Mary's University where he earned his Accounting degree and earned a CPA in 1963. Charles started his career with a local accounting firm and subsequently became a partner at Arthur Young. He also became a co-owner of Aquasun Sports which enabled him to enjoy many years of diving in the Caribbean. L4512ater in life he enjoyed traveling with his wife to many beautiful and exotic locations.
Charles enjoyed reading, classical music, the symphony, sports cars, and he had a passion for his model trains. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.
Charles is survived by his wife Joan, brother Frank Way Jr (Susie), children Charles Way Jr (Alison), David Way (Debbie), Andrew Way (Vanessa), Tracy Ballard (David), Al Honigblum (Sylvia), Fay Honigblum Seeman (Alan), and Carrie Honigblum (David Saling), 14 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family would like to give special thanks to Stella and Richard Ramirez for their many years of devotion.
