Charles Anton Willms

Charles Anton Willms, age 95, of Bulverde, TX went to be with the Lord Sunday, November 20, 2016. He was born June 5, 1921 in Fredericksburg, TX to Carl and Ottilia Becker Willms. Charles was a decorated World War II veteran having served in the European, African and Middle Eastern theaters of operations. He worked in Civil Service, retiring from Kelly Field in 1975. Following his retirement, he pursued his passions of hunting, fishing and camping with his family. He was a charter member and served as Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus Council #8521. Charles was preceded in death by his parents and seven brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Joan Willms; daughters, Charlene French, Christine Dotson, Kathleen Taylor; son, Carl W. Willms; nineteen grandchildren and thirty-five great-grandchildren.

A Rosary will be recited at St. Joseph of Honey Creek Catholic Church on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.; Mass will follow at 11:30 A.M. and interment will take place in the church cemetery.
