

Charles A. Ybarra, Sr., age 76, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2021, in San Antonio, TX. Born on December 28, 1944, in San Antonio, TX, to parents, Albert J. Ybarra and Eloisa Castaño Ybarra. He was a beloved husband of 53 years, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He attended Jefferson High School, Saint Mary’s University and was a U.S. Marine combat veteran in the Vietnam War. He was a successful business man who owned and operated Quick Travel Service. He was preceded in death by, his parents Albert and Eloisa Ybarra and nephew AJ Hinojosa. Charles is survived by his wife, Victoria Tellez Ybarra; his children, Charles A. Ybarra Jr., Christine Ybarra-Gutierrez (Albert), Christopher A. Ybarra (Norma), and Cathleen Ybarra-Hernandez (Paul); grandchildren, Anisa Gutierrez, Alina Gutierrez, Noah Hernandez, Jonah Hernandez, and Henry Charles Ybarra; sister, Barbara Ybarra-Hinojosa; nephews, Ben Garcia and David Hinojosa; numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family will receive friends from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm, on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, and from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm, on Thursday, January 28, 2021, at Porter Loring Mortuary.
