Charlie was a 32nd Degree Mason of the Arlington Heights Lodge No. 1184 A.F. & A.M. in Ft. Worth, TX.
He was a member of the Order of Sons of Hermann, Scottish Rite Bodies, Alzafar Temple - A.A.O.N.M.S., and the Disabled American Veterans.
Charlie was a longtime member of St. George Episcopal Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Iona F. Hargrove.
He is survived by his sons, Charles C. Hargrove of Ft. Worth, TX and Clifford D. Hargrove and wife, Jonise M. Hargrove of Austin, TX; grandsons, Carey C. Hargrove and Brian C. Hargrove both of Ft. Worth, TX, Zachary C. Hargrove and Jeremy P. Hargrove both of Austin, TX; granddaughters, Jana R. and husband Kevin Ballentine and Melody Hargrove both of Ft. Worth, TX and Frances V. Hargrove of Austin, TX; three great-grandchildren and sister, Rebecca J. and husband Les Duncan of Leming, TX
