Charlotte M. Martinez was called home to be with the Lord, on July 19, 2012 at the age of 69. She is preceded in death by her parents Lorenzo and Carlota Montelongo, siblings Flora Robledo, Trinidad Peña, Consuelo Vasquez, Robert Montelongo, Ernest Montelongo and Lorenzo Montelongo. Charlotte attended Santa Rosa Nursing School where she later became an LVN. She worked in a hospital and nursing home setting for 49 years as an LVN. She was also a parishioner at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Mrs. Martinez is survived by her sisters Hope Rodriguez, Janie Martinez, Mary Ellen Llanes, Nilda Montelongo. Mrs. Martinez was a beloved aunt to numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will begin Sunday, July 22, 2012 at 9:00 a.m. at Trevino Funeral Home, 226 Cupples Road with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. that same evening. A funeral procession will depart the funeral home Monday, July 23, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. for a 12:00 p.m. mass of Christian burial at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Interment to follow in Mission Park South.
