Born in Lorain, Ohio to Harvey and Marilyn Teaman, she began a life that would eventually bring her to San Antonio, Texas.
To all who knew her, she was a woman full of love for others and love for Christ. Her greatest joy was being a wife to her husband, Frank and a mother to her three children, Leah, Aimee, and Frank. Frank and Cheryl celebrated 25 years of marriage in August of 2009. During those 25 years of marriage they lived in Rhode Island, Texas, Ohio, Maryland, and Tennessee. Cheryl made each move an adventure and created a loving home for her family at each stop. In 1998 the family settled in San Antonio and made deep friendships.
Cheryl's love for music began at a young age and would continue to bless those around her through her singing and piano playing. She loved working with students at San Antonio Christian Schools in the Athletic Department and cultivated life-long relationships there. Cheryl's joy and hope were evident to everyone she met, and her foremost desire was that people would know Jesus in a real and personal way. Psalm 139 was her favorite passage and had been since age 16, when she came to know the Lord.
The family would like to express our deep appreciation to Dr. Lisa Fichtel and her staff as well as Dr. Chris Bogaev for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Cheryl. We could not have gotten through the last two years without the help of so many friends from San Antonio Christian Schools, River City Community Church, Parkhills Baptist Church, United States Air Force/WHMC, and UTHSCSA.
Our dear friends have celebrated with us in victory and consoled us in our loss. Proverbs 17:17; A friend loves at all times and a brother is born for adversity. Words will never be able to express our deep appreciation and gratitude.
Cheryl is survived by her husband, Frank R. Miller, MD Colonel USAFR; three children, Leah, Aimee, and Frankie; her parents, Harvey and Marilyn Teaman; sisters, Linda Teaman Tom, Kathleen Blazoff Steve, Patricia Vig Steve; brothers Brian Teaman Minako and Andrew Teaman Wendy; Mother-in-love, Cathy Miller; sisters-in-law, Margaret Miller Frank, Kerrie Alexander Scott; brothers-in-law, Charles Miller, Steven Miller Tracey; along with many loving nieces and nephews.
