Cheryl Adrienne West

Who was Ms. Cheryl A West:

She was a native of Detroit, Michigan. An aviate learner. Her undergraduate degree was awarded by Wayne State University & she holds a Master of Education degree with specialization in Medical Education-said degree also conferred by Wayne State University.

Ms. West studied flute performance techniques with the late Clement Barone (then Detroit Symphony Orchestra member, flute & piccolo), as well switch Roy Ernest and DeLeonard. She also participated in a Master Class with Sir James Galway in 2012 at Detroit's Orchestra Hall.

October 2013 Ms. West completed the requirements for the Diploma in Anglican Studies (from Laud Hall Anglican Seminary, Hollowood, Florida. As well, She was installed in 2005, as an Ordained Elder in the Presbyterian Church. Cheryl has served as layreader in the Presbyterian and Lutheran denominations.

October 2013 marks the date of Ms West's completion of all studies & requisite Internship taken at the Detroit Medical Center, Detroit Michigan & subsequently granted as a Certified Music Practitioner (one who brings live, acoustic, healing music with defined protocols, to the bedside of patients of all ages and in all clinical specially areas.The CMP status was awarded by the MUSIC FOR HEALING AND TRANSITION PROGRAM, based in upstate New York.

Ms West returned San Antonio, Texas in November 2015, to assume the duties of Children's Music Teacher at the EPISCOPAL CHURCH OF THE HOLY SPIRIT, SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS.
