Christian Falkenberg

Christian lived a life dedicated to service, education, and community. He proudly served his country in both the United States Army and Navy before beginning a meaningful career as a Life Skills Teacher, from which he later retired. He was also a devoted foster grandparent, sharing his wisdom, kindness, and encouragement with countless children throughout the years.

A faithful member of Holy Name Catholic Church, Christian was active with the Guadalupanos and cherished his church community. He enjoyed traveling and tending to his garden, and he was a passionate patron of the arts. Christian also loved friendly tabletop games and was an enthusiastic supporter of the San Antonio Spurs. His warmth, generosity, and sense of humor touched all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Olegario and Severa Hernandez Falkenberg; his siblings, Samuel Falkenberg, Guadalupe Falkenberg, and Gloria Falkenberg.

Christian is survived by his siblings, Susie Rios, Leonor Davis, Candelaria Vasquez, Tom Falkenberg, Olegario Falkenberg Jr., and Sylvia Falkenberg, along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will forever cherish his memory.

Christian’s legacy of service, compassion, and love for others will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
