Christian Walter Rawlinson, born on May 18, 1978, died on June 16, 2002, peacefully in the arms of his family. His precious spirit will live on in our hearts forever. With thankfulness, we bow our head before him for teaching us lessons of love, peace, tolerance, courage, and giving. He was an inspiration to all who knew him. He fought a courageous battle against Neuromuscular Disease all his life. He was a graduate of James Madison High School, Class of '96. He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Walter O. Schroder, and Perry D. Rawlinson. He is survived by his parents, Elke and Jim Lombard; father, Michael D. Rawlinson; sister, Anneke Rawlinson; step-sister, Debra Lombard; step-brother, J. Dustin Lombard; grandmothers, Marie Rawlinson of Cushing, TX, and Elfriede Schoder of Germany; his best friend, Robert L. Rodriguez; his attendant, Delonna Alfter; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. It was Christian's wish to be buried beside his grandfather, Perry D. Rawlinson.
