Christina Theresa Herrera

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Christina Theresa Herrera, who left this world to join our Heavenly Father on December 20,2024 at the age of 79. Born on October 28, 1945 in Harlingen Texas. Christina was a bright light , and her infectious smile could brighten any room.

A mother of four and dedicated teacher, Christina had a profound passion not only for her children, but for education that shaped the lives of countless students. She taught third grade and English as a second language.

Christina had a remarkable ability to love with conviction . She dedicated herself to her family and two beloved dogs, Riley and Darla.

Beyond her role as a mother, Christina had a passion for antiquing and spending time with her dogs. Her resilience and spirit touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.

Christina is survived by her loving children, Yvonne Salazar, Diana Merced, Gregory Rodriguez and Eric Rodriguez. A memorial service will be held on December 27, where her immediate family will celebrate her beautiful life.
