Christine Flores Davila

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Christine F. Davila, who entered into rest on January 6, 2026 at the age of 74. Born on February 27, 1951, Christine lived a life filled with love, laughter and cherished memories.

Christine retired from The Express-News Publication Company after many years of dedicated service. A devout Catholic, Christine found joy in life's simple pleasures such as drinking her favorite soda, Coca Cola and watching her two favorite teams the San Antonio Spurs and the Dallas Cowboys. In her life she enjoyed fishing, gambling, and spending quality time with her family and friends.

Christine is preceded in death by her parents, Francisco Davila and Maria Flores Davila.

She is survived by her loving family; sister, Beatrice D. Martinez (+Arnoldo Toledo Martinez); brother, Thomas Guerra (Sonia Guerra), Richard Ramirez; nieces and nephews; Arnold Aaron Martinez, Dessiree Villarreal (Peter), Roland Hernandez and Daniel Guerra; great nieces and nephews, Johnathan Guerra, Gabrielle Budd (Billy), Jakob Serna, Victoria Guerra, Mariah Guerra, Alyssa Guerra, Amber Hernandez, Allison Flores and Aubrey Hernandez; great great nephew, Mason Budd; great great niece, Raelynn Guerra.

The Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 24, 2026 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Rd. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. The Services will conclude in the funeral home chapel.
