Christine Hein Ruvalcava

Christine was born in Prüm, Germany to parents Magarethe and Heinrich Hein on November 11th, 1938. It was here in Germany that she would meet her husband, Ernest Ruvalcava. They met in 1966. They were married from 1970 to 1997. She spent 15 years as a nurse and enjoyed watching wrestling and listening to German music. Christine enjoyed looking her best and dressing up with a love of shopping and had a passion for sweets. Christine is preceded in death by her husband of 27 years, Ernest Ruvalcava. She is survived by her brother Jakob Hein (Prüm, Germany); her children, son, Ernest Ruvalcava, of San Antonio, Texas, daughter and son-in-law, Anna and John Du Bois of Schertz, Texas, and her daughter, Isabella Ruvalcava of Selma, Texas; as well as her grandchildren: Chelsea and Alayna Du Bois (daughters of Anna and John), Gabriella and Bianca Rutter (daughters of Isabella). She will be greatly missed. A Visitation for Christine Hein Ruvalcava will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2020, 11:00 am at Sunset Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 1701 Austin Highway, San Antonio, Texas, with a rosary beginning at 12:00pm and a funeral service at 12:30pm with a private family burial at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
