Born December 9, 1985, Chris was a precocious child with a huge personality. The memories of his brightness are almost too many to recount. Whether doing his Elvis impersonation at seven in front of a crowd at the club or explaining Jesus to a bunch of teenagers 10 years older, he was always beyond his years in terms of eloquence, confidence, and boldness.
He was a man of the field, a hunter, a boxer, a lover of basketball. He worked as a petroleum landman and loved to discuss industry related issues, particularly peak oil theory. He had a razor-sharp mind and a keen wit.
Most importantly, Chris was a man of faith who loved Jesus Christ. Even at the worst of times, he would have his Bible out, struggling to stay connected with his Lord. Now he is in His loving arms. And though he lost his battle with depression, battle he did. He was a warrior who stayed in the fight as long as he could.
Services will be held Sunday, June 5, at 2:00 PM at Porter Loring North.
