Chris Honey, my forever Love. There are no words which sum up my emotions since that testing moment. I feel like I have been in an out of body experience, looking on on an unimaginable happening. My soul is shattered, my emotions raw, the tears come and go. I reminisce on all of our moments together. I look at your photos and I allow my mind to remember every part of you. I ache for your hugs, touch, voice, look, smile and everything about you. I am so lost right know but I now with time, healing will occur. I hold on to every ounce of who you were...so kind, gently, selfless, loving, all giving, caring, every good adjective that I can think of. I cannot think of any bad moments spent with you. What a beautiful tribute to Chris's life. Thank you for allowing those of us far away to be there through the webcast. It was incredibly hard not to be able to be there in person and see all of you who shared a love for Chris to hug you and share stories.  "Ma & Pop" you two raised an amazing man and should feel proud for giving him such a wonderful gift to be able to see the best in people and believe in them.  Playing foosball in college was one of our favorite things to do when we weren’t in the design lab cracking out the next assignment! My car broke down and Chris drove me all the way to Nashua to help me out. He gave me the nickname “Wanker”(last name Wangrocki). Everyone got a nickname! He said he didn’t know that was a bad word when he did it… or did he? I’ll never really know. This is a piece of art work Chris did in our screen printing class. I’ve always loved it and its moved across the country with me. I cherish it now more than ever.  I was SO HAPPY for Chris when he met Stacey. I always knew he was a man who would follow his heart and would fully commit when he found his love. It was wonderful to watch the life they built together and to meet you Stacey and Xavier in Spokane so many years ago. Xavier, your dad was so proud of you. He never stopped bragging about how amazing and bright you are! He truly loved being your dad.  Chris, Too soon buddy, too soon. Your love for life and the gratitude towards it was inspirational. I met Chris over 10 years ago; he, Stacey and Xavier were visiting Guyana. He was such a cool, easy going guy. He was perfectly made for Stacey. He fit neatly in with the group we were hanging with at the time. Based on all the memories I've read, the same sentiment is shared by everyone. Gone too soon but a well lived life. Rest in peace Chris.

We pray that God will be your source of comfort at this time. Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might.  God will see you your through.

Chris, I remember your enthusiasm and joyful spirit.  The happiness and laughter you shared was contagious and would make all around you smile and laugh as well. I met Chris around 5 years ago when him and Stace moved to SA, we worked together everyday and really found ways to keep a good deal of humor. From the first week he started he was out there getting the feel for things on the floor with us and joking around I sprayed some fart spray around, Chris couldn't believe how awful it smelled, we played along trying to figure it out, he concluded it came from the dogs ball we were throwing around and warned us "guys don't touch that ball the dog crapped on it!" Finally I told him, and welcomed him to fart club, we cried laughing. Then later Tyler started working, and I told Chris we dont talk about Fart Club. And I proceeded with spraying around Tyler, and folks I can tell you that this memory I'm sharing -if tyler reads this it will explain a lot of those spontaneous horrible smells if he didnt assume as much. Cause me and Chris kinda forgot about it and time passed.  This is just one funny memory I recalled recently among hundreds of others.  Chris didn't know how to not be a helpful person, he legitimately put others before him. We worked together closely for the past around 5 years, and I'll always remember and value all the exchanges we had and I am thankful for things to have aligned for life to have us cross paths.

Oh Chris... My heart is hurting as I write this. You were like a big brother to me in college during a time when I needed it most. You kept an eye on me, encouraged me to do bigger and better things, introduced me to all of your metal head friends and got this hippie chick to dance along to heavy metal in a dingy basement. You always had my back, always greeted me with a bear hug and a giant smile. You let me cut the line at Kilkenny’s, served me beers till the wee hours of the morning and always made sure I had a safe ride to absolutely anywhere I needed to go at the end of the night. You would give me that super intense stare and say: “you good??” And you always knew when I was lying and saying “yes”, but meaning “no”. You cheered for me when I sang at open mic nights and I cheered for you during shows in that dingy basement. We both consoled each other through various broken hearts and break ups. And I will never forget that you drove me all the way to New York City to take a flight to Ecuador which would ultimately take me out of New Hampshire and away from you for good, even though it broke your heart that I was leaving. You taught me how to love my friends 100% unconditionally and to show up for them no matter what.  We’ve both moved around a lot over the past couple of decades and I haven’t seen you in a long time, but we talked regularly on the phone and kept in touch. You loved your wife and son with a passion that only you could exude. You still encouraged me to take care of myself, stick with music and “for Christ’s sake, get your butt to Texas!!” I was hoping to get to Texas soon for a visit and I’m so sad that I didn’t. Oh my friend, you were larger than life and will be forever missed by so many. Rest In Peace, buddy. My sincere condolences to the family, friends and all who knew Chris.  He was a wonderful soul taken from us much too soon...

Judy, Bob, Jason, Stacey, and Xavier, know that we love and miss Chris and our love and hearts are with you, too. We know that he would want you to continue caring for yourselves the way he cared for you. He left us much too soon, but he left a wonderful and positive mark in this world. One thing Chris and I shared in common was our live of the Patriots. While living in New Jersey I would often get the game against the Jets relatively cheap, because you know they’re the Jets. On a couple of occasions I invited Chris to go with me and at one of these games an obnoxious Jets fan sitting behind us was throwing peanuts us. We were deck out in our Pats gear. After a bit, Chris quietly got up, got right up in this guys face and whispered something to him. He never bothered us the rest of the night.

I’ve never met Chris. But I am very touched by his legacy and the love to others he reflected in his life, as told by so many. He made my little cousin, Stacey very happy.  May we all draw closer to God through this experience. May our Heavenly Father continue to bless, protect, comfort and provide for Stacey, Xavier and all the family. I have known Chris since the day he was born. As my nephew I watched him(with his Uncle John) grow from little towhead to long haired teenager to the early years of his bands and his art education. Being able to be part of his first trip to London to meet Stacey was the best as I remember his smile when he came back to Logan. He found his way home to be a wonderful husband and father to Xavier. He helped his Mom and Dad (Judy and Bob) to move from Florida to San Antonio to be closer to family and their Grandson. I don't quite understand at this point why we had to loose him now. I can keep his memory alive with all the family holiday pictures and videos. I hope that in Heaven his Uncle John (my dear husband) will only tease Chris just a little bit! He was such a great guy! We had special names for each other in school that I have never forgotten.  I hadn't seen him since we graduated and was shocked to hear of his passing.  My hear goes out to his family and friends.

I have only known Chris, his beautiful wife and son for a short time but in that time we enjoyed our family lake days. He would always say Desiree why are you so angry and I would reply this is my happy attitude  and we would laugh. He was a great guy with an awesome sense of humor.. He definitely  became a part of the Hansen family and will be missed.

We met Chris, Stacy, and Xavier in England and had a lot of memories from different trips.  Chris would protect his family and friends and had a good time no matter where he went. I remember when I first met Chris a few years back when our sons played football together heading into sixth grade.  I didn’t really know anyone involved with the team, and from the beginning Chris offered up a chair and we’d watch the boys practice. Shortly thereafter, we started talking and busting each other’s chops and I quickly realized what a great, funny, and witty friend Chris had become.  Whether it was hanging out at our boy’s football games, a day shooting together with our sons on the range, or  our families hanging out and having a great time...I’ll always remember just how full of life and energy Chris was!    One of my fondest memories of Chris was just a few short weeks ago. Chris, Stacey, Chris’ parents, and his brother all came over for dinner, drinks, a fire in the fire pit out back, and an evening of karaoke.  We all had a great time, but Chris listening to his mom and dad sing together really touched him.  I could see in his eyes just how happy the evening made him. The last thing Chris ever said to me was how happy he was to see his parents singing together because it had been years since he had seen that happen.  He expressed to me how much it meant to him and he gave me a heartfelt thank you.  It’s such a great memory for me and I’m so thankful Shannon and I got to share that evening with Chris and his family. Chris an my son Greg met at my son Travis’s wedding in 2005. They immediately bonded over their love for the New England Pats. And then Chris met my son-in-law Ro - an avid NY Giants fan - who was barely able to hold his own when Greg and Chris ganged up on him.
