Dr. Christopher Keith Spillers

Into the Loving Arms of our Blessed Savior and Lord rests Christopher “Chris” Keith Spillers, a Beloved Son, a Devoted Husband, and a Loving Dad. Chris went to Heaven on Thursday, August 6th, 2026. Born in Santa Fe, New Mexico on Mother’s Day, May 12, 1974, to William Keith (Deceased) and Janet Leigh Spillers. He was a resident of San Antonio, Texas.

Chris excelled in education, attending Christian based Elementary, Intermediate, High School, and Undergraduate Studies. He graduated with Honors obtaining degrees in History and Biology from Houston Baptist University in 1996.

He then pursued a Medical Degree graduating from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio, in 2000. He completed his Residency at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, in 2004 specializing in Anesthesia. Chris excelled and was considered a highly respected Anesthesiologist as his career progressed once completing his Residency. He then remained in Lubbock for approximately one year overseeing beginning Anesthesia Residents. Additionally, he, along with one of his fellow colleagues, was privileged and given the responsibility of staffing numerous local Emergency Rooms across the Lubbock region. In 2005, Chris relocated to Dallas, accepting a position with Tx-An Anesthesia Management, LLP.

In 2023, Chris relocated to San Antonio, accepting a position with Emergenc Health, practicing at various locations around the Metroplex until his passing on August 6, 2026.

In his earlier years, Chris enjoyed playing Golf and had a great affinity for High End Luxury Sports cars. He was very gifted and highly intelligent in many various fields of interest. If presented with a problem, he would be relentless in finding the solution and achieving results with Excellence! Chris pursued the highest level of quality and would not give up until the task was completed to the fullest.

The MOST meaningful and heartfelt joy of his life was his family. Taking care of his devoted wife, Mallory, and wanting to be the very BEST Dad to his two precious and delightful sons, Nic and Jett. No matter how tired he may have been at the end of the workday, he would come home and invest his time in his family. Whether it would be any needs Mallory may have had or getting involved with the day’s events of the boys, Chris wanted to be with them. On the weekends, he LOVED taking the boys swimming, to Sea World, the Trampoline Park, teaching Nic how to play tennis, Jett how to ride his bike without training wheels, and visiting and having fun at the “Escape Room.” Of all the fun events and places he visited with Nic and Jett, the most invaluable gift they ever received was their Dad crawling into bed with them before they would go to sleep and having enjoyable books to read, bringing about laughter and pure Joy of a Dad investing himself into their lives. He loved the boys so much, he dreaded the fact they would one day grow into adults and begin their own lives away from home. Every moment spent with Mallory, Nic, and Jett was the highlight of his life.

Chris is preceded in death by his father, William Keith, Grandfathers, General John H. Grimm, USAF, and William (Bill) Spillers, Grandmothers, Dorothy Curtis and Martha Spillers.

Chris is survived by his loving wife of 11 years, Mallory, sons Nicolas (Nic), age 9, Jett, age 6, Janet Underwood, Mom, and the many family members of the Spillers family and loving family members of Mallory’s family.

Cremation arrangements are Private; no formal services will be held at this time.
