Cynthia "Cindy" Tovar passed peacefully from this life on February 14, 2025, in San Antonio, Texas, at the age of 69. She was born on July 5th ,1955 to Arnold Tovar and wife Irene. Cindy was surrounded and supported by her sisters and family until her last breath. The date was fitting, as she had a big heart and shared her love generously with those around her.
Cindy was retired from Aetna and made her home in San Antonio. She was a beloved daughter, sister, sister in law, cousin, friend, god-mother, aunt, and great-aunt. She is survived by her sisters, Angela Medrano and Bernadine Tovar-Centers and brother in law Robert Centers. She also leaves behind her niece, Alison Villarreal and fiancé Mario Rojas; her nephew, Arnold Nino and wife Marcela, and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews whom she adored and loved to spoil.
Cindy had a passion for music, a good book, and all things television and movies—especially anything related to vampires. Her warmth, generosity, and love for her family will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
She will always remain in the hearts of those who knew her.
