Clara was born in Monterrey, Mexico on March 26, 1929. She moved to San Antonio in 1946 and soon after met the love of her life, Harold "Soupy" Reich, at the San Antonio Jewish Community Center. They married in 1947, and together they raised a wonderful family and traveled the world. Clara was an active member of the Air Force Officers wives club, life member of Hadassah, an Agudas Achim sisterhood member, and a life member of Agudas Achim.
Clara was an elegant woman with many talents and impeccable style. She was an amazing artist, a good bridge player, and everyone loved her cooking and baking. People could never get enough of her mandelbrodt and bite-sized knishes. She was always there for her friends and she had many of them. Clara especially cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and all of her family, never missing a special moment.
Clara and Harold were married for 69 wonderful years and together they loved to dance and travel, with one of their favorite destinations being Las Vegas. They also had a hard time passing up an opportunity to go on cruises with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Pola Ribak, her identical twin sister, Bertha Valdez, and her brother Jaime Ribakowski.
Clara is survived by her loving, caring husband, Harold "Soupy" Reich, her children Allen and Jennifer Reich, Norine and Howard Yukon, and Helene and Harry Abrams, her grandchildren Ryan, Gabe, Molly, Joseph, and Abby, and many nieces and nephews.
Soupy has lost the love of his life. His sweet beautiful Clara.
