Claudia Burch Biegler Blakey

Claudia Burch Biegler Blakey, 64, passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2008, in San Antonio. A lifelong resident of San Antonio, she was born on December 23, 1943, to Vollie and Dorothy Burch. She graduated from Providence High School and was the "Girl Friday" of Marvel Manufacturing for over 20 years. Claudia was a fanatical Cowboys fan.

She was also a loving daughter, sister, mother, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Blakey; her father, Vollie S. Burch; and her beloved son-in-law, Rick Barrios.

She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Burch of San Antonio; daughters, Jackie Barrios of San Antonio, and Pam Romanaski and husband Brian of Round Rock; and their father, Jack Biegler of San Antonio. She is also survived by a step-daughter, Gretchen Essey and husband Daryl of Utah; brothers, Stan Burch and Curtis Burch; a sister, Judy English and husband Robert of San Antonio; grandchildren, Sarah Holder and husband Wade, Chris Barrios, Taylor Barrios, and Heather Romanaski; a great-grandchild, Emily Holder; also numerous nieces and nephews.
