She was preceded in death by Hobart Riggs, husband of 51 years; and Carlos Collins, husband of 7 years; granddaughter, Shirley Mason; and great-granddaughter, Tanaya Otterpohl; and longtime friend, Harold Wilson.
Survivors include three daughters, Marjorie and husband, Lucky Stokes of San Antonio, Frances and husband, Jim Young of Houston, Arlene and husband, Ted Sellars of San Antonio; 5 grandchildren, Tom Otterpohl, Jay Young, Gay Young Sharman, Jeff and Brad Sellars; 13 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great grandchildren.
She was a faithful servant of the Christian faith, past-president of the Ladies Society of Brotherhood of Locomotive Firemen and Enginemen Lodge #381, and a life member of the PTA.
The family expresses great appreciation to the staff of The Heights Assisted Living and VistaCare Hospice.
