Concepcion B. Gallegos

On March 4, 2011 Concepcion B. Gallegos, 90, passed from this life to her home in Heaven. She was preceded in death by her husband Humberto Gallegos, her parents Ernesto and Victoria Briones, her brothers Mauro Briones, Ernest Briones and sister Faye Landin and Carolina Deases.

She is survived by her children Richard H. Gallegos, H. Roland Gallegos, Cynthia D. Garza, Pamela G. Vera, Cecilia N. Rivera and their spouses, 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren as well as a sister Tina Parker and brother, Joe Briones, numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

She was born on November 6, 1920 in Asherton, Texas. She was a loyal wife and wonderful mother. To describe her is to say "she never met a stranger". She was a great cook and enjoyed sharing her meals with all.

She will never be forgotten, we will miss the love she expressed to us, her hospitality, her beautiful smile and great sense of humor, her good cooking and so much more.

The family wishes to thank Faith Home Assisted Facility, Rosa Cortes and her staff as well as Odyssey Hospice Care, Ellen Kohn for all the comfort they provided for Connie.
